Objectives:

Based on systemic risk studies, this Center aims to continuously promote human settlement secruity and urban-rural resilience development under framework of national security framework.

Positioning:

This Center focuses on new theoretical and systems studies for integrated disaster prevention, mitigation, and resilient urban-rural development. It is engaged in the research and development of key technologies for disaster prevention and resilience cities, as well as providing resilience planning, design practices, and emergency management-related support at macro-, meso- and micro-levels, offering multi-perspective, multi-dimensional, and multi-layered integrated disaster prevention, mitigation, planning, design, and emergency management-related research and professional services to national and local governments, research institutions and development entities.

Achievements:

Integrated disaster prevention and mitigation planning in spatial planning and disaster risk management research at national, provincial and city levels, theoretical innovation and practical application, addressing technical needs of resilient city development.
