For more than 20 years, the High-tech Zone has made important contributions to promoting the development of Shenzhen High-tech Park and high-tech industries. Today, in the context of "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" development and Shenzhen being the "Pilot Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics", the North District of the High-tech Zone urgently needs to tackle the problem of scattered land development to gather stronger innovation power.
Through the government-led coordinated planning and implementation plan for the district, the property rights of the third and fourth floors of the High-tech Zone North District will be uniformly transferred to the government, planned as an industrial public service platform, and focus on providing spaces for amenities that support production, lifestyle and innovation. An innovation ecosystem will be cultivated using dwelling settlements as the basic unit, and each settlement will be arranged around the green heart dotted with industrial, lifestyle, cultural and exhibition services, as well as other supporting functions. State-owned enterprises were introduced as the main party for renewal project application and industrial operation, which play a key role in coordinating the entire process, and assist the government in achieving the goal of industrial park transformation.
