Shenzhen North Station is an urban living room in the southern part of Longhua that integrates innovation, service, culture and experience. It is the key anchor of Shenzhen's "central excellence and northern expansion" urban structure. It has developed in conjunction with Futian in the north-south direction to form a twin urban structure in the central part of Shenzhen. The new version of Shenzhen's National Territorial Plan includes the North Station area in the "urban core area". In future, this area will benchmark against Futian and Nanshan to create a charming international vitality hub.
1. By building an integrated urban structure of "two cores and three valleys", the Station's relationship with mountains and rivers is strengthened, and the city becomes more integrated with the Station.
2. Develop an open space structure of "mountains and rivers in overlooking distance, three valleys mutually connected", which includes a characteristic Water Street, a smart Innovation Valley, and a multi-dimensional Vitality Valley.
3. Longhua District took the lead to propose developing the North Station area into a pilot for digital twin city of the future. This includes a future management system, two future centers and several management platforms.
