Xiangmihu and Futian Central District jointly form a model green and cultural district in the new era, which is envisioned to become an international new city center and a new engine for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The district integrates international exchanges, high-end finance, cultural creativity, commercial, recreation and other functions. It is a "new urban living room" and "new financial center" with international quality and regional characteristics. The Plan covers about 1.7km² and divided into central and northern areas. It proposes four core concepts: mountains and sea green corridors, vibrant living rooms, central art rings, and three-dimensional cities.
