UPDIS co-organize "World Cities Summit - Shenzhen Forum" with Singapore's Centre for Liveable Cities

On 10th August, 2022, the Centre for Liveable Cities of Singapore invited UPDIS to organize "World Cities Summit - Shenzhen Forum" themed "Placemaking of High-Quality Living Environments in the Post-Pandemic Era." This event marked the first time a World Cities Summit event was organized in China. The Forum was chaired by UPDIS President Mr Sima Xiao and featured the opening speech delivered by Dr Liu Thai Ker, inaugural Chairman of the Singapore's Centre for Liveable Cities; Academician Wu Zhiqiang; Professor Wang Wei Jen from the University of Hong Kong, National Engineering, Survey and Design Master, Prof Sun Yimin; and UPDIS Vice President Dr Shan Liang.
 
Experts discussed the challenges of the post-pandemic era and explored sustainable and liveable city development as well as high-quality living environments from the Chinese perspective. The event was broadcast live across multiple platforms and received widespread attention.
