From 24-26 May 2023, SZDI was invited to attend the Indonesia-China Smart City Technology and Investment Expo held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event was jointly organized by the Indonesian Chinese Association, the China Committee of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Guangdong Overseas Friendship Association, and China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd. The Expo aims to promote collaboration between the governments and enterprises of Indonesia and China, introduce investment opportunities, and facilitate technological exchanges for building smart cities in Indonesia.

During the event, UDPIS was invited to attend business promotion and exchange sessions. The delegation engaged in deep exchanges and discussions with local government officials and enterprises from Indonesia. Representatives from the Indonesian local government and the Indonesian Chinese Association expressed their expectation for further cooperation with UPDIS to address issues such as urban flooding and traffic congestion, and to provide demonstrative, feasible, and implementable comprehensive solutions for tourism revitalization, industrial park development, and satellite town development.
